Metastatic Breast Cancer Study

I am conducting a study looking at young women's experience of living with metastatic breast cancer. This study involves a one hour interview ...and I will travel:)

As you know, 30% of women diagnosed with primary breast cancer will experience metastases in their lifetime. Yet less than 2% of national cancer funds are allocated for metastatic research and none are allocated for non-medical, supportive research.

It is my hope that this study will help identify the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of young women (21-40) living with MBC, and inform better support efforts.

This study has been approved by the Loyola University Maryland Institutional Review Board.

If you know someone who may be interested in contributing to this very important study, please pass on my contact information or refer her to the Research page of my website www.cfisherandassociates.com.
